About me
Hello, I’m Lara
A virtual PA with more than a decade of experience keeping busy leaders organised, on time and one step ahead.
10+ years as a Headteacher’s PAVA since 2020Dancer since age 5

My story
Calm in the busiest office in Hampshire

For more than ten years I’ve been PA to the Headteacher of the largest junior school in Hampshire, a school of over 600 children and 100 staff.
In that role, everything for the Headteacher comes through me. I juggle (and negotiate between) the diaries of eight senior leaders, manage inboxes across different platforms, coordinate meetings with staff and outside agencies, book training and travel, and prepare everything from presentations to Ofsted paperwork. I’m also the school’s SATs administrator every year.
Before education I worked as an auditor, a quality control coordinator and a team leader, in industries from property and mortgages to logistics. Since 2020 I’ve also supported business owners as a virtual assistant, in fitness, film and TV PR, counselling, hypnotherapy, beauty and dance.
I pride myself on getting to know my clients and building real relationships. And if something falls outside what I do, I have a trusted list of contacts, so you never need to worry.
Experience you can rely on
What I’ve been trusted with
The Headteacher, two deputies and five assistant heads: eight senior diaries kept in step without a clash.
Email managed across different providers and platforms, so nothing important slips through.
Coordinating senior leaders, 100 staff and the outside agencies a busy school relies on.
Accommodation booked to very specific requirements, and training and travel organised for staff from different locations.
Copy typing, tracking documents, presentations and appraisal minutes, plus the regulatory paperwork for Ofsted.
Ofsted, SATs, continuous assessment and staff training, all with deadlines that can’t move.
The link between the Headteacher, staff, parents and every outside agency.
How I work
What you can expect from me
Labelled, colour coded and planned ahead. I genuinely love bringing order to busy days.
I look for ways to make things run more efficiently, not just tick tasks off.
Years of handling confidential school and HR paperwork mean your business is in safe hands.
I take the time to understand you and your business, so support feels effortless.

Away from the desk
Why I choreograph to-do lists
My true passion is dancing. I’ve been dancing since I was five, I’m professionally trained in a number of styles, and in my spare time you’ll find me at Ceroc classes and events.
That same commitment goes into my work. Hire me and you’ll be helping fund my ever-growing collection of dance shoes, much to my husband’s dismay. Because you can never have enough.

It’s not all about work
A little cause close to my heart
When I’m not organising diaries or dancing, I volunteer with Greyhound Lifeline, an independent charity rescuing and rehoming greyhounds and helping them find the loving homes they deserve. You’ll find me:
- Doing their admin: posters, leaflets, banners and pull-up stands, plus Google Forms and data collection behind the scenes
- Walking the hounds
- Mucking in on volunteer days, when the kennels need a spring clean or an upgrade
- Fundraising at events, raising awareness and running the stalls
Proud volunteer with
Supporting UK greyhound rescue and rehoming
